Our
Programs
At JA, we come alongside educators and parents in an effort to create a more informed and well-prepared generation of leaders, despite socio-economic status. We are looking at the different economic issues in our society and providing student-focused solutions through our various programs to foster a more sustainable future for Arizona.
JA’s unique program model places volunteers from the community into the classrooms where they provide age-appropriate curriculum to students and share about their real-world experiences. Our programs equip today’s students with critical financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship skills that will prepare them to succeed in work and life.
Nearly 190,000 students in Arizona, the majority of whom come from low-income backgrounds, received JA programs last year, thanks to the 9,500 volunteer mentors who donate their time to empower our youth. Each of our programs is hands-on and tailored for students kindergarten through post-secondary school.
