WHy JA?

The success of our community depends on how prepared today’s students are to succeed in work and life. We must empower the next generation to succeed by teaching kids how to manage their money, think innovatively, and get ready to enter the workplace.

Junior Achievement of Arizona is doing just that. We are changing lives! Our programs are far-reaching (170,000+ primarily low-income students each year) and have meaningful, measurable impact — not just for the students we serve, but their families, their future employers, and the community overall. We are giving these students the tools and confidence to break poverty cycles and achieve new heights.

By empowering today’s students, we’re ensuring a robust and sustainable future for Arizona.

Connecting the dots between what kids learn in school and how it’s applied in the real world isn’t that simple. That’s why we created JA BizTown®, an engaging, hands-on program that introduces 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to economic concepts, workplace skills, and personal and business finances in a student-sized town built just for them.

Community Partners

Our partners are a pivotal part of bringing Junior Achievement programs to our youth by contributing their time and financial resources. It would not be possible to serve more than 170,000 Arizona students each year without committed corporate and individual partners. Our sincere thanks for making it possible!
